Judgmental Lending Program Business Review

Overview

•   Conducted an intensive 60-day review of a top 10 issuer’s Judgmental Lending Program focusing on the following areas; Credit Operations, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Systems, and Marketing
•   Tasks managed included; Discovery, Gap Analysis, Recommendations, and Action Plan Development


Results Achieved

•   Identified yearly application processing savings in excess of $1MM and an incremental Judgmental 3 year account opportunity conservatively estimated to yield over $100MM to the issuer’s bottom line and add over $1B in high quality outstandings.



























Lending Process Review Project

Overview

•   Optimized a top 20 consumer lender’s processes, which included the utilization of automated underwriting and manual credit reviews, to maximize approval rates while still maintaining the personal touch their customer’s expect.
•   Identified and documented the most efficient process within the application processing system, to allow for automated credit decisioning.
•   Regression tested all existing decision points to ensure they were captured in either the automated or manual review decision processes.


Results Achieved

•   Year 1 incremental outstandings of $1,000,000,000+ were booked.
























Bankruptcy Workflow & Processing System Design & Acceptance Testing

Overview

•   Performed a needs analysis and gap assessment for a high-volume issuer’s Bankruptcy processing unit.
•   Developed the requirements and managed implementation for a new online bankruptcy workstation.
•   Created test plans, detailed test scripts, and managed the overall User Acceptance Testing effort.
•   Tasks managed included; Discovery, Definition, Design, Acceptance, Develop, Deploy, Result Measurement.


Results Achieved

•   Identified areas for immediate improvement while re-engineering project was underway.
•   Implemented first successful Websphere and core processing systems integrated solution using an iterative development process.
•   The rule-based inventory management system significantly reduced manual processing and prepared the organization for the upcoming EBN/ECF on-line communication initiatives.
